the nhra have given him his fine so why does tellytrack have to now have their own court of law and hand down a punishment? i can tell you that he was meant to be on panels to preview feature race days but him and other jockeys will stick by him and not do panel discussions etc..so who loses out the punter will lose out and ultimately the industry will lose out..its time for sweeping changes in many facets of this industry because its very clear that current management is driving this industry further into the ground..this whole issue has been handled disgracefully

My wife was called a BUSHY by a trainers wife and all she got was a R20,000.00 by the NHRA in which I am happy with but I personally feel that in this day and age of 21 years into democracy and the trainers wife being a colour holder she should have been warned off for life. Waiting on the transcript and then I will post the name.
 I hope that it is now your ex trainer?
No room for racism in any form in this country any more. Well done to the NHA for sticking it to the racist cow. By the way Tottenham I think that was a proper fine in the context of what the NHA hand out.

if the nhra are so keen to clean up the industry maybe they should have an inquiry into the huge amount of nepotism that prevails in the industry..it is shocking to say the least and the culprits couldn't give a damn..

What an absolute joke. I saw the interview and it clearly slipped out. Far from a rant or deliberate swearing. He's such great value in the interviews and puts in the effort even if he's not always that keen to be up there.
Shocking to punish someone for a mistake like that. And just another reason to stop watching racing.

I'm not sure of their license conditions - maybe a legal brain can add some light - Perhaps they are afraid that they will be reported to the BCC if it happens again? I don't have that info so perhaps somebody from Teletrack could explain. I however don't understand how you can place a time frame on it - Either he agrees not to do it again in writing and you move on or if he feels he will do it again then no interviews to protect your license(if indeed that is the reason for the sanction)

I think other jocks may now be envious of Manne's ban. If they had a choice I wld think that most jocks wld not do interviews.

A quiet word behind closed doors with a "suspended sentence" would have sufficed imo.
About time they banned people who are really offensive to many listener's ears...
Nico for persistent sexual innuendo "strikes" perhaps...?
