Is Mitch Wiese the stiffest oke in town? I can't recall an interview where things are running well.

If possible could someone contact him daily and find the following out for us.

1: What he fancies on the horses
2: His lottery numbers for the week
3: Which football team he supports

just by going in opposite to the above i reckon we can scrape out a living......

Yup , most days he could cheer up a party ,just by leaving :P

Actually ,jokes aside and thinking about it,it must be horrible to be unhappy in your line of work!

Jokes aside i was thing of this the other day.
His yard is taking a real pounding. I remember a few seasons ago with the likes of inca spirit and that he was knocking in races day in day out now he hardly wins.

I remember Fortune on Winning Ways saying that Wiese was the most optimistic trainer he has ridden for and that he said Wiese thought he would have 5 winners but he only had 4 runners. He also said Wiese fancied a horse very strongly and when going down to the start it felt like the horse had tennis ball joints lol

The financial pressures of being a battling trainer are immense. Most just put on a brave face while they have no idea how they are going to pay the feed bill.

Felt quite sorry for the guy when he practically begged the owner not to take the horse away from him even after today's win.Really tough being a "small" trainer. Will bounce back if he can get one biggie into the stable.

Guys if I may add my bit, Mitch is one of the best trainers in PE. MY mate, close to my heart, nutty as a fruit cake, but my bud, well done it must obviouslyhave been a plan and those f......that didnt want to accept it are not in the p6. All I want to know is, how the french did he give the jockey the right instructions to ride the horse ??? This poor laaitie couldnt understand a word of English and Mitch's English is great. Well done my boet he is one of the few jocks that is really gifted in English. :P I really must send Mitch a horse :cheer:
