TML, I totally agree with you!

Not only is a trainer like this angering the whole punting fraternity, but he is putting good honest trainers in an underserved lingering limelight...

IMVHO, ban the man, fine him for every cent he has ever won, and set a prescident for once and for all that shit like this will not be tollerated....

I have no time for people who literally can tarnish the future of a honest hard working individual who has nothing but the proffesion they are in, best interest at heart....

Wake up, max penatly, CASE CLOSED.....

In a case like this I don't understand why the NHRA was even involved - That is a Civil or Criminal matter and they should have told the parties to use those avenues(I presume the trainer's wife falls under NHRA rules hence the sanction) - Also serious as the action was it is two people having an argument and one insulting another which happens all the time in life and I think the fine is fair(I do not condone these actions and I understand that if you fall under NHRA rules they can sanction you) -

In the Smith case and the Agrella case those actions directly influence the Integrity of the Bet(the life blood of the NHRA) and I feel that if Agrella got suspended for betting then at the very least Smith should have had his license suspended as his actions were CHEATING and the intent to CHEAT. It was not proven that Agrella was manipulating races and I'm not even sure if that was alleged but Smith's whole intent was to undermine the rules of fair competition and to DECIEVE the BETTING PUBLIC. I will never understand this decision.

He should not only be BANNED for Life he should be handed over to the police ?
And to imagine People like this are allowed near horses ?? Did the horse break down from all the drugs it was given ?
Its disgusting and I am challenging the NHRA to have this man removed from Racing and Horses immediately ?
