Good Tips!
9 years 6 months ago
Lots of different threads around talking about tipping, so I thought I would start a new one out of interest...
Being new to the game, I tried lots of "expert tipping services". It would be interesting to get feedback from the clanners on their experiences. Anybody found something that works?
I think I did now, as I have been having good results, but would like to know who you've tried and what your experience was... anything worth following? (except for ABC of course

Snel always listen to the interbet podcast.Altho its done early raceday so no parade and paddock inspection I still work hard on form and am led to believe that the reading of the racecard is of a help to many. And its free.
Happy punting

I have not done that before, but will definately give it a go... I assume that the more info you can lump together, the better your chances of finding that "winner"

You stated in your opening thread that you are new to the game Snel. It that case I only have one tip for you and that is get the hell out of it as its bad for your health and your bank account. Don't believe all the posts on here that tell us that they have won. Some posters win even when the meeting has been abandoned. Have a flutter if you must but don't get involved. I speak from experiance.

I must say though... I've been bitten by the bug! I used to gamble big time in casino's, but now enjoy this (never cared for horse racing before). Much better odds and at least can make some educated guesses (better than a ball turning in circles and hoping that it hits your number).
For the past 2 weeks I've been following the jockey selections on that App that came out. I've been hitting some big ones! Especially Striker and Kennedy's selections... And on Saturday I see Karl Nesius started tipping, so eager to see what he likes...
and it's FREE... so will cost me nothing and seems they are much closer to the results than anything else I've found

I just use the email version. Send a blank email to register@voidstar.co.za and the selections get sent to you daily.
My buddy has it on his phone though... downloaded from playstore.
It's called SA Tip Assist. I must also do this as it has some nice features, like alerts going off to remind you of the race loading, etc...
But I'm still testing and so far it seems cool...

Tip 1 - If a top 5 jock rides for a small stable follow, they appear to ride a bit more aggressively for small yards
Tip 2 - Avoid Ryan " Armchair " Moore in the uk like the plague, Chicken has been following him for years and he has almost lost all his feathers in the process
