Mr Scott ,you mention what you will read on the websites.................lol
Well let me start by saying that it was wonderful to hear the plans that you have for Tellytrack and suddenly (in addition to Hassan Adams initiatives in the Cape) I think we are finally seeing some proper business principles applied to racing.(and all in one week)
Congratulations sir,I loved listening to your vision for racing ,and think some of the new products sound wonderful!
(I have to say that it was refreshing to hear a fundamental understanding of the punters need for fixed price betting, from within the corridors of the operators..................what was missing was what I was hoping for .....a hint at fixed price tote betting
- hopefully in the future as I still think it gives operators and punters the perfect compromise and the best of both worlds)

not to blow smoke but the first sensible approach i have heard in years. Streaming is something I and many others would appreciate. I just hope he does not leave teletrack for other positions in Phumelela before the job is done.

Nail on the head at the end Rob (Scott )
I liked what he said at the end of the interview about everyone working together...
That`s just not happening atm.. go check out the retweets and likes shares that the RIAR stuff get on twitter and facebook..
You won`t see the Snaith stables ( for example) retweet anything that does not have their runners or riders interests. Or you won`t see breeders ( who all have twitter accounts ) retweeting the come racing tweets blah blah.. But when a Captain Al wins a maiden with a R2m purchase they are all over it like a rash ( not a rush ). This is in some cases is because they have girls in an office just looking for mentions and tags of their own account.. Many times i see people(fans) interacting with racing folk on social media and being ignored.. This is the whole point of social media(interaction)
I`ve never understood why "racing insiders" don`t help create the "rush" for ever share of information and good news there is a chance the a newbie punter/owner/racing fan will be found..

I watch the atheraces stream and way better than ours - One thing that needs attention is the live mic at the Vaal - You can hear everything punters say when they walk past - i have picked up many owners trainers and punters talking(some not very savory conversations also) live. Inadvertently these people's private conversations are being broadcast worldwide (remember the 5k Fortune got?) I have LTE so streaming no problem but the stream often stops and is very often not available

Just watched this interview and all I can say is RESULT! I am absolutely buzzing at the thought of being able to constantly stream the whole July card, or Queens Plate etc if I'm not able to get to the course! Think that what they charge will be very reasonable and it's a brilliant idea.
A bit of innovations goes a long way.
Thank you, Rob Scott. Good Luck!
