every other evening they show evry race even from the States and now with a South African interest on hand what a way to promte it they Demote it.........
need to get a competitor to Tellycrap to give the punter whats needed...not kak!!!

Bernards grandfather Tiger Wright spent some time in the UK in the 1952 or 3
Was due to ride a horse in the Derby but came back to SA and the horse won
Can't remember the name but a French jockey pickup the ride
Tiger came back won the July for Len Oates and the story was that he was told to meet Mr Oates at the offices of the Durban Turf Club
Mr Oates collected the stake cheque turned it over signed the back and handed it to Tiger as the present
Mr Oates was a massive gambler!!
Was due to ride a horse in the Derby but came back to SA and the horse won

Great story , think it might have been 1947
Derby horse was PEARL DIVER, Oates won the Durban July that year?

No disrospect meant to the English horses but a 80% CAI should be too good for these
