Imo, looked as though it was in need of the run.

Hard to take South African horses anywhere these days, look at last year MDK took some superstars that never lifted a leg or even raced..
Probably ran to about an 90 MR , still thin she will end up winning a few next summer if thats the plan? or is it the paddocks?

She looked pretty lean and ready for the JOB, Haggas sounded quite confident so maybe her running a bit free cost her finish..
Remember the winner was probably running over a trip too short so doubt it was the early pace that beat her ?

I'm sure she will improve from that ,but we have to be realistic.................so far,our horses have never been nearly as competitive in the UK as Dubai...................Not too many have won? .........Soft Falling Rain did, but not many others

Cold As Ice (18/10) runs in Race 4 Chelmsford City today with Bernard in the UK to take the ride but is running in a conditions race with colts and geldings.
There is runner from France in that race number 3 Borsakov, which has a third behind New Bay who ran third in the Arc. At 16/1 its worth an eachway and it has won on an artificial surface before.
