R7 Newcastle Good Vibration E/W. Point-to-point winner who improved a lot on his second hurdles run. Will have no problems with today's testing conditions and should make the first three at least at an attractive 13/2.

R7 Newbury Pearl's Legend E/W. Tough front runner who should be ideally suited by today's conditions. Might just get an easy lead here and can go well at around 15/2.

R6 Wolves Brandon Castle E/W. Was a bit disappointing here last time, but pulled far too hard and didn't see out the two miles. Tonight's trip is more suitable and he can go well in a race which might not be the match between The Steward and Sparring which the betting seems to suggest. 11/1 is a decent E/W price for the selection with just the eight runners.
