Sad to say Durbs but you could just see this happening as the posters were all raving about what a great card it was for the punters. The bookies need the cash for the Cape season when all horses will run to form in order to get a hold of the stake monies for their owners.

Not at all but as I said my play was based on banking in the legs that I thought the hottie would not be out of the first 2. I could not see the first 2 finishing out the exacta so I decided not to try to beat them. Unfortunately for my Bi-pot I only went with Fortune and the woody horse in the third leg so thats binned. I hardly ever back odds on on the nose so I have not had a single straight bet and only played small Bi/Pa perms
