I can't believe you were not considered for the job or your opinion was not asked for !!!!!! A veteran like you in KZN racing should hold an advisory position on the board.

Three key words in almost all aspects of life in SA, especially in government, quasi-government and oversight entities...transformation, representivity, demographics...in some cases only one applies and in others all three are prevalent...

It sickens me that government has perpetuated racial classifications...and what is even more worrying are the sycophants (from minority groups) that are stifling the futures of their own children so that they can reap short-term benefits (and feather their nests) from doing their masters' bidding...one day they will also be dispensable...

I'll use an accounting analogy...the only balance sheet that balances perfectly is that of your own life...the assets in your life are you, your spouse, your parents, your siblings and your children...the liabilities are any wrong you inflict upon anything else of this earth...your liabilities can eat away at any of your assets so tread carefully...the likes of Vivian Reddy, Schabir Shaik, Thoshan Panday, Jay Singh and numerous other "Indian" businessmen who brown nose to reap benefits for their families may currently be enjoying the good life at the expense and in many cases to the detriment of the majority but their balance sheet will balance... :( :(
