"B. Wilson" now has a new home! (Forget about my buddy)

Recommended. If you are ever in Bulawayo then pop into the Jock and Saddle - well stocked with good whiskies.

A casino overlooks the track. The casino is open only on Friday and Saturday nights.

Sad to see the old stomping ground in this condition.

On my only trip to Zim in the late 90's I raced here. Enjoyed it greatly and met all the local trainers and jocks. Sad

It is a sorry situation and place to see. I was there in 2013.
Borrowdale however is GREAT. I was there end of December and was invited up to the stipes floor where the sponsors had an open bar.
A few drinks with Fransie H and left when the DJ started playing Mapolisa at 8.30 to go and study for an exam.
It was packed to the rafters and a great festive spirit shown.
How they have survived all, I will not know. They are a great fighting breed
