In other news Pineau De Re, a former Grand National winner became the first horse to win another race after the National since 2002. And then Hawkhurst seemingly having the race sewn up after jumping the last and clear of the rest, throws it jockey overboard. You got to love the jumps

Attheraces got a nice touch with the performances of the horses in the current going/conditions being shown when you click on the runner. Helps for the heavy going

Cloudy Copper running at Fos Llos is the only runner in the field that has not been pulled up, fell, unseated the rider or refused to jump. 9/2 on the nose.

Just watching a race at Plumpton(never had a bet on it ) and watched a horse well clear with the jockey looking around (commentators comment was ...........the danger isn't behind, its in front ) that was prophetic as the jump was misjudged and the horse came down!
Perhaps somebody who understands jump racing could comment ..................if I had backed the faller I would be seriously pissed off as ,if the jock had concentrated on his ride, maybe a different result...............................is that condoned by the BHA??

Yesterday the odds on favourite 8/15 was 20 lengths clear approaching the last fence. He jumped it and extended his lead only for the jockey to come off 50 yards from the finish line. Hawkhurst the horse Sam Twiston Davis the jockey who has apologised publicly for the mishap.

And then trainer responds no needs to be sorry as the runner is a quirky type and it could have happen to any jockey.

I have given up punting on Jump Races. Unfortunately no odds are offered on fallers..... If there was I would have one of the best strike rates around, as I am BLADY BRILLIANT at backing the faller.....
