Imo,
I am actually sad he has gone. Yes, you set yourself up when you proclaim to be the "special one". He has got a great track record, and he is a brilliant tactition of the game.. He has lost it in the change room with Chelsea, and it was only a matter of time before he was out, but in terms of the EPL, I do believe it is always better to have him in rather than out. Could only have imagined next year, Mourinho,Klopp,Guardiola all in the same league... His antics were not always great (fair enough), but the edge he brought to the epl was great,(both in soccer and off the field), and I am sure increased their viewers numbers (could be wrong but I do feel he did)...
You could never be sure what his next rant and rave would be, and this created a lot of interest in the epl. I do believe (and once aagain, I am only speculating), watching how their relationship went to dust, Diego Costa was the main thorne in Jose's side, seeing DC after the off season, he must of put on 10kg's and was never in shape, and Mourinho probably let loose, and that was the start of his downfall.
Anyway, that's just my stupid opinion, and I am sad he has gone....

£40 million severance pay not forgetting the £16 million that he received first time around plus all of his wages during his tenure so all in all he must have earned around £100 million at his time at Chelsea.

I
I agree with many of your opinions..
This is my take on the whole sorry state of affairs at the Bridge,Chelsea's woes started pre season. They were chasing the money, going here there and everywhere, instead of getting FIT and ready to defend their crown.
They returned well short of match fitness you need in PL,then JM has a right rant at our physio and doctor, wrongly in my eyes and in the eyes of some players.
So you would think with that scenario,he would keep one of the Stalwarts who has Chelsea in he's veins on side, but no he dropped John Terry next game.
Say what you like about Terry as a person, but you can't hide the fact he keeps players focused on their commitment to the cause.
Then the arrogance of JM comes to light,he wont drop Fabregas or Ivanovich because the whole world thinks he should, but he will crucify a young player In Loftus Cheek and not play him again.
At least the lad can run and get about the pitch(legs is what we are missing)
Then he rightly digs out Matic and Costa, but these overpaid prima donnas( Matic £120,000 a week and Costa £170,000) can't handle it and sulk like children.
Now I've always supported JM and he is our all time most successful manager and I thank him,but I was gobsmacked with the decision to play no forward against Bournemouth at HOME.He played Hazard up top,a player who hasn't scored for months, strange that one.
He also never gives the youngsters a chance, why play the older lot when they ain't trying?

no idea who they will be getting next. What I suspect will happen is that at least 6 of the current squad will be gone at the end of the season as a new manager will want to build his own team. I think that Mourinho will either re join Real Madrid or go to Man United.
