Not long to get your bets on, but Excelling Oscar race 1 at Southwell is a decent place bet

I cant believe this weather. Its warmer here than it is in NZ and its their summer  Doubt if we will be having any more snow or frost. Last night I took the dog out in my short and a tee shirt at 10. Crazy even the daffodils are starting to bud and the grass has started to grow.

If I had to have a bet today then it would be on Frosty Berry in the last. Has won 3x in a row, twice at Southwell and when finishing still looked full of running so now goes further so should win again. Can win but I am not betting as I have had enough of losing. Still enjoy it though.

R4 Ascot Le Mercurey. Had very good form when running in France, but was a bit disappointing in the UK last season. Looked back to his best, however, when hacking up on his chasing debut last time (runner up has won easily since) and should be hard to beat here if in that sort of form again. Sportingbet's 5/2 is a good price (will go off shorter).

R3 Wolves Zebedee's Girl. Her debut second at Chester would make her very hard to beat here. Set too fast a pace when a beaten favourite in a good race at Newbury next time before a very flat effort at Thirsk. Has been off for five months since, so something may have been amiss that day and, if she is fit and well for her reappearance, she should be up to winning this weak maiden. 4/1 (generally available) could be a very generous price.
