You be the judge

Just seen the trailer for this new show, on the face of it, sounds like a welcome innovation with scope for viewer participation.
One point though.....cheeky chappy Neil Andrews states that the topics for the show will be announced 1 week in advance....!!! That dilutes it imo, the show should be off the cuff, put the panel on the spot, now that would have the scope to be really good viewing.

Yip, barrier trials; a nice neutral and safe topic?

Maybe we should formulate a few topics here on ABC and have them discussed on this exciting transparent new programme.
To get the ball rolling my question(s) would be, "we all know that the stakes we race for are down quite markedly in real terms, what pressure, if any, is the RA exerting on Phumelela to rectify this ?"

stakes will improve when racing can compete with casinos and the lotto.
1. remove the prejudice against fixed odds punters
2. make bookmakers pay direct to stakes
3. make racing commercially/operationally independent of the tote
Edit:
Oh, and
4. allow sponsors to contribute direct to prizemoney

What a shame it's a not a phone in program such as the format Neil Andrews hosted on Monday night football.
Are the decision makers afraid to have a phone in ...?
