Be warned... 5/2 will not last for SJ.

Same Jurisdiction appears to have strengthened up. The reason I say this, look what she did to Inara in their last meeting, conceded 2.0kgs and a three length beating for good measure. Bear in mind Inara is a dual Grade One winner. Don't forget SJ's one and only attempt at the distance, she was caught and passed very late in the race by an unlucky Siren's Call. The third placed finisher, Trophy Wife, was a further 2.25 lengths back. So it's not like SJ was buckling under pressure from a fast finishing pack. The beauty of this horse like we witnessed on July Day, she can race handy or be dropped out. She is the one to be with on Saturday, this is a very smart race horse.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

For me I agree that Same Jurisdiction is the one to beat, but I'm not nearly as confident as others seem to be - not a lot between SJ and Smart Call (SC has the advantage of a much better draw) and even Pine Princess; not sure why Delpech has deserted PP to ride the 3 yr old, as she is certainly not well weighted on official ratings - but this is only her 4th start, so she might be much better than rated - so if Delpech had the choice, Bela-Bela could well upset.

I agree with your assessment, at the weights SJ should win but she has some opposition from other horses as well as the shocking draw!
Bella Bella has to be a runner but perhaps at double her current odds would she become a viable punting option, not the very skinny looking 5's she is currently. She does however have the draw and the most scope. I'm looking forward to the race!

Smart Call is turning out to be very Smart. Lol

But of the day there are 2 horses to take out and those are the 3yos Bela Bela and Noah From Goa.

Indirectly pointint you towards the winner of the $1mill race silver mountain.

Silver thrashed bela bela in the guineas who ran a cracking 3rd against older fillies and mares and she ran less than a length behind Noah who ran a race out of the top draw beaten by the highest rated horse in SA and 2014 horse of the year.

These form lines only point in the direction of silver mountain whom imo will wallop the field for the 1mill race
