Congrats to what will probably be the most intelligent "appy" at the academy, he achieved 5 distinctions with his recent IEB matric exams. Carpe Diem.

Though I disagree with his choice of career(he could do just about anything with those scores ) it takes some balls to give up convention to follow your dreams. He will only get better and for me I'd rather have an older entrant for the academy than a youngster that is only doing it because of the glamour. Could be a great one in the making.
