Where's the finish line?

Anyone have any idea why we do not have a finish line and camera's exactly on the line like the rest of the world? Surey it can't be that expensive to put a camera on the line about 10 meters in the air like happy Valley and other proper centers? It grates me every time when the commentators have to remind you the camera isn't on the line and is biased to horses nearer/further away from the camera.

The camera is on the line. The commentator's view is not.

Depends on which horse they want to win... :whistle:

For me the line is mostly in two different places.

A yard further than my front runner is capable of holding on for and a yard shorter than my late flyer needs to get up. :lol:

theres actually a reason to why the camera is positioned that way,
