Although I was born in 1978, I enjoy watching the old races of the 1980's of South Africa and reading about any top horses from any era around the world. My dad should tell me stories and his favorite was William Penn. I see Festive Season won the Cape Fillies Guineas and then ran third in the Cape Guineas itself. My personal favorite of all time is Ribot who is my profile pic from the inception and his breeder/owner is a legend in his own right, Federico Tesio.

Festive Season

As stated by Pirates,the conditions of the Met were changed for the 2009 running.

It suited PP and he duly arrived at 12/10.

In fact,the race produced a solid form result,with Dancer's Daughter the 2nd fav at 5/2 filling 2nd and River Jetez the 3rd fav at 7/1 filling the frame in that order.

The following years have produced two favs,Igugu at 15/20 and Futura at 2/1.

River Jetez 15/1,Past Master 16/1 and Martial Eagle 80/1 have been the others.

Punta Arenas at 125/1 ran 3rd last year.

that will be just to cover the rip off airport tax and duties and not forgetting the green tax
