New Caledonia - heard before its debut that the Woodruff stable regarded this horse as their best 3 year old(from on course presenter comments). It was slow and never in the race but moved up at one stage and just seemed to tire. 2nd time out, Lerena booked and will be better for the experience. Good draw, i think?

Support has come in. Opened 3/1, now 18/10 at WSB.

Another I like is Angel's Power in race 8. Been gelded after his last run. Has got African Ruler beaten at the weights from their previous meeting. He also has a 3kg swing at the weights with Al Azraq for a 2 length beating where he clearly wasn't right, hence the gelding. The 5 furlong may be a tad on the short side but he has won twice over the distance. Fortune/Wiid is a potent combo and if not needing the run, at 28/10 is worth a go.
