"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Tuesday 20th May Workings..

Evening.

This evening completed then, and went as follows.....

The 1st runner we wanted 2.0, and with getting around 1.87 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at around 1.87 max. The lay went and won, so the money right and the way it goes...

The 2nd runner we wanted 3.1, and with being a well supported 2.48 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.48. The price then went for a walk out to our own price of 3.4 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won, so the way it goes again, but glad of the 'free' lay this time....

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.94, and with drifting to around 2.98 on arrival and then dropping back down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 2.94 max. The price then went for a walk out to our own price of 3.25 and beyond, so a chance of a 'free' lay for traders and builders. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result....

The 4th runner we wanted 3.1, and with being a well supported 2.56 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.56. The price then went for a walk and out to our own price of 3.4 and slightly beyond, so yet another chance for builders and traders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten after a battling finish, so a good result......

The 5th runner we wanted 3.0, and with being a well supported 2.86 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.86. The price then went for a walk and out to our own price of 3.3 and beyond, before tumbling back down again, so a fluctuating market and another chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten after a battling finish, so a good result.....

The 6th runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 3.0 on arrival and only getting slightly bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage, so all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'........

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED................(2 from the first 2 (100%) went and won - and that awkward start and too many drifters stopped us all from hitting our targets. However, no big deal and we look ahead to tomorrow)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them)...........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and after a very tough start laying two winners, they then bounced back with two good results to break level on their 4th lay (the 4th runner), and so with being level, only one potential lay left, and no room at all for error now - they end the session levels.....

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 1.87 max, but a poor result see them go behind early......They then had a 'free' lay (the 2nd runner) that only bought relief........Then came another 'free' lay (the 3rd runner) that bought a tiny profit.......Then yet another 'free' lay (the 4th runner) that bought another tiny profit........Then yet another 'free' lay (the 5th runner) that bought another tiny profit........That's where they ended, and so they end the session conceding 0.6 of a target, and feeling a little unlucky in doing so with all those drifters - although could've been worse I suppose and thankful for small mercies!...

Traders had to concede a little on the 1st runner at 1.87 max, but all others see them win a bit, or break level, so they ended around levels at worst and so well battled guys...

So a tough start to the evening, plus a bunch of drifters made it very awkward for us to get a grip on things, and although frustrating, it's no big deal and we look ahead to tomorrow. Rollers had tom settle for levels, but they'll take that after a very tough start. Speak in the morning guys..

Afternoon.

The races, runners, and prices, to work around for this evening then, as follows....

6.20 Leicester. LIGHT THE FIRE (1.87)

Our price 13/10 (2.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.0 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

6.50 Leicester. HIGH STANDING (2.78)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.1 or under.

7.40 Towcester. INDIAN PIPE DREAM (2.64)

Our price 9/4 (3.25) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.94 or under. *Traders be aware that although he can race a few ways, it wouldn't be a surprise to see a prominent display this evening in the blinkers*

7.50 Leicester. CANDY MOUNTAIN (3.35)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.1 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

8.20 Leicester. CARNIOLAN (3.0)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.0 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early market for clues, concerning this race*

8.40 Towcester. PSYCHIC STAR (2.9)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 16:55pm.

That's what we have to work around for this evening then. Never easy, but we have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so with discipline to the maximum, and with taking advantage of any prices that come our way, we'll hope that value wins the session like it does for sure over a period of time. Good luck and speak soon...
