Great to see a smaller stable and a not very fashionable jockey win a race of this size. Proving my long held theory that with the right horse, the majority of trainers and jockeys will win the race. The horse is by far far and away the most important factor in the race. Lets see if these 2 get the accolades they deserve. :)

The appie might get some of that cash to buy a new car if necessary. ........the bulk of the money is held by the academy and invested. ......when he comes out of his time, he'll have a nice little nest egg there.
