Craig du Plooy no longer riding in the Met

I was so happy for Craig when i saw he had a ride in the Met. He is a hard worker and has ridden a few winners this season from minimal rides. Now to discover that MJ Byleveld has replaced him.

Does anyone know the reason?

Agree, but how much experience do you need to set the pace. Happy days. Still feel for Craig

think the owner got the needle to hear the horse was going to be the pacemaker, so she wanted someone on the horse not connected to the stable

Did I not hear somewhere that Felix was coaching him? And surely he must have some ability if he is involved with training workriders(I must say the Cape riders look way worse than the Gauteng guys but that's because our guys get many chances to ride)
