@mr h...those in the know may not have taken a bet on the head but would have made for a smaller Bipot and Pick 6 perm...and still standing in those whilst others dropped out... :(

I know Ryan Munger quite well and he is a honest boy and he said the filly did not go down particularly well - When a horse pays R9 a place and drifts from a punting stable then I would think anybody that picked her was guessing the changes would improve. There was money for Banker's Delight in the previous race from the same stable and it ran in the bush . With such a small market in Kim if somebody put 1k with the books it would have shortened dramatically.

That is why I don't think anyone took a bet on the head with either the bookies or on the tote...the odds and win / place payouts indicate such...could have bankered or smaller perm in Bipot and P6 and no-one will be the wiser...ticket standing whilst many fall all around... :(

I just voicing an opinion as an outside observer...have not taken a racing bet in some time...so looking at anomalies as objectively as is possible...

If you take a P6 or bi-pot you have to rely on the fact that nobody else will have the same combination as you (or as few people as possible) - That stable punts and if they thought that horse would win they would have backed her. I don't think there was any conspiracy here - Changes to eqipment published days ago in Computaform - No stable support. Jockey and trainer(admits he's out of everything as he did not put in his bets) are surprised by result and as any trainer will tell you Blinkers and TT are put on horses that need something to improve their form.

The punters in the tote knew about the blinkers(the TT is not mentioned which should be) This is the free tab sheet

I guess my point is I wonder why everything could not just be above board and the card changes published on all the respective platforms the same... should not be too hard?

I do note Magi that they where published in the Computaform so no "late changes" per se but the confusion for me I guess is to not have confusion and allow all the publications the same information that "CHANGED" from the last time the horse ran and publish it as such , i.e. ANY changes on the last run to be published as card changes everywhere.. .. in this case double change with blinkers and TT fitted... clearly making a HUGE improvement ... I don't see it as any crookery or scullduggery .. just a more transparent view for ALL punters... KNOWLEDGE IS POWER...

My point exactly.............also not suggesting skullduggery (but regulators should always be seen to be enquiring about huge form turnarounds)
but ,AS A SERVICE AND AID TO CUSTOMERS,card changes would be better reflected in 2 parts
a)a summary of all changes since last run
and
b)changes since final acceptances

both must be available so why make customers play "spot the clue"
