CARD CHANGES i.e. WHITE FLOWER

Hi all,

I was just listening to the commentary on Tellytrack interview with Zietsman and was surprised that nothing got published on www.tabonline.co.za or www.tabgold.co.za or www.gallop.co.za regarding card changes on WHITE FLOWER ??

Zietsman clearly stated that they fitted Tongue Ties as well as Blinkers so why was the public not notified on this card change for clarity please?

the computaform has the horse racing with blinkers and tt so there were no changes to the carded equipment - gallop has it there also aqnd i would presume the newspaper also printed as such

This is a very relevant question and should be the subject of an enquiry, bearing in mind that the changes have been provided as the reason for the unbelievable improvement!

(SAHorseracing, where card changes are "official" ,still reflect none of the said changes)

I realise that the changes were made at nomination or acceptance stage but wonder why no summary of changes are noted- this result highlights the relevance!

MrH,the regulators of the insurance industry have outlawed the "small print" .................it couldn't be printed any smaller in the Computaform ;)

I had a small wager and took Pick 3's with it catching the 4th, 5th, 6th race Pick 3. I am amazed at the Pick 3, payouts unusually low. Maybe the stable had a wee nibble and took Pick 3's with it. I had 8 horses in race 6 and as you know the favorite won. The other 7 horses I would have collected over 10 grand.

@naresh...well done...yes, unusually low Pick 3 payout...double paid R502 and Pick 3 paid R945...I know they not related bets / pools so dividends may not make sense...

@mr h...those in the know may not have taken a bet on the head but would have made for a smaller Bipot and Pick 6 perm...and still standing in those whilst others dropped out... :(

I know Ryan Munger quite well and he is a honest boy and he said the filly did not go down particularly well - When a horse pays R9 a place and drifts from a punting stable then I would think anybody that picked her was guessing the changes would improve. There was money for Banker's Delight in the previous race from the same stable and it ran in the bush . With such a small market in Kim if somebody put 1k with the books it would have shortened dramatically. Anybody that would take a P6 or Bipot instead of backing the horse on the nose would be stupid as you then have to factor in other people's horses to win cash and your horse can give you a 50-1 return with less risk.

I took A small each way at 50's, was also my hollybucks horse and p6 still running.

@loopy...if those were carded changes, there is no need to advise anyone....changes after thd card is out MUST be communicated

That is why I don't think anyone took a bet on the head with either the bookies or on the tote...the odds and win / place payouts indicate such...could have bankered or smaller perm in Bipot and P6 and no-one will be the wiser...ticket standing whilst many fall all around... :(

I just voicing an opinion as an outside observer...have not taken a racing bet in some time...so looking at anomalies as objectively as is possible...
