karma, I would say Snaith has had about 5 - 6 first times win this season - as juveniles. ...mostly for Drakenstein stud..... I don't know why you made that statement ?

The statement of which you speak was made in the previous season.
Snaith brought nothing 'ready' to the track as a 2 yr old.

Her first few runs she was a bit keen, and tried to go start to finish. Ran good races.
The experiment with blinkers was singularly unsuccessful. This was a very low key meeting, and she appeared much calmer. One assumes that the stable would have worked on correcting her starting stall issues.
This was a very poor field- the fact that a first timer which the stable stated on their website would need the run was still priced up favourite attests to that.
Persian Silk just had to jump on terms and run near her earlier form to win.
