Very interesting race on Saturday

Been looking forward to seeing Lohnromance running again but surprised Aldo not riding ?

I know she has a lot to prove etc and Fear Not has the form in the book , but !!!!!

Any of you have your own MR assessment for LONRHOMANCE? The official MR seems looks a bit low for me.

Made its debut as 4yo thus

Maiden Plate Winners
1. A four year old or older winner will not be rated higher than a net 70.

And also for its second win because of the layoff.

Layoff Allowance
Horses 4 year old older where no WFA is applicable to receive up to a maximum of 3 rating points for being off 210 days and
5 rating points for 365 days and more. Horses placed in a graded race at their last start may receive an allowance at the
discretion of the handicapper but not exceeding 5 rating points.
Retrospective assessments of a horse’s last start when returning from a layoff also to be utilized when making a rating

So 70 + 3 = 73

I think I am right

At her second start she beat a 3yo filly rated MR 79 by 3 lengths, in receipt of 2 kg. That run was thus a bit better than her official 73 - but only around 78. She won unextended, and can obviously improve plenty around the turn.
There is no ways I would back her at levels to beat Cuvee Brut- she has to improve 25 lbs!
