Jolly boys to the big T plus thread for Sat 20th
9 years 3 months ago
Good afternoon all
I was asked to arrange a stag party for one of the lads that is a regular at the pub and rather than a titties bar I thought I would introduce them to racing.
We have a bus leaving from the pub and all drinks and food arranged for a day at the track and racing from the box.
We have a kitty and included a few rands for a few punts or exotics where after having a look at the card looks a bit of a shocker!
All inputs welcome and any bankers appreciated
Good punting

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Didn't catch USO but fancy the chances of the Woodruff runners, R2 - Duzi Moon, and R4 - Caymen Sunset. If they managed to speak to the Woodruff stable, what were their comments on the above two, thanks?
Duzi Moon, third run after the rest and back in distance. The return to the shorter trips should not worry this horse because it's run back from the rest was over the 1200m and it looks to have needed that run when finishing strongly. That may have prompted the stable to try the 1400m, however the draws looks to have taken it's toll as the horse raced fairly handy and ran out of puff.
R4, Caymen Sunset, one from one over the distance and does look progressive. Hopefully Gavin can get him handily positioned "for nothing" from a good barrier draw, then he will be the one they all have to beat.

Bayern
Duzi Moon has to be right there at the finish but Ronnie Rocket owes me big time from the last run. I also think that Cayman Sunset will win as well .
I am prepared to give Count Tassilo another chance as well.

Beeg T Selections...
A great days racing and a profitable one I'm sure.
Race 1 - See You Jimmy (No surprises here, worthy favorite)
Race 2 - Ronnie Rocket (Duzi Moon will need wings to beat this one, Duzi followers, don't hold your breathe)
Race 3 - Beating Heart (Watch the price plummet after Ronnie Rocket flashes home)
Race 4 - Super Glue (Pick6 banker)
Race 5 - Divine Wind (Another Pick6 banker, guys don't miss out with this runner)
Race 6 - Neruda (Strong claims here, was scratched last time out at the gates, above average type, just needs to load and jump and the rest is history)
Race 7 - Twilight Tiger (Another with strong claims here, with a postive ride I make her a big runner, including Rebel's Girl, Save the Day and Dragon Var but to mention a few, all in all a very tough race)
Race 8 - Field in my Pick6 (I cannot single out a few runners)
Race 9 - Field at the back (Again I'm struggling)
Enjoy fellas
