Make no sense that he would rather Race in PE than CPT.

It does make sense Sylvester. PE is a much weaker center and the stake money is basically the same as in the Cape, so from a owner's pocket, that is good business!

Then he should move his yard to PE and raid CPT for the big race days........

If racing was at kenilworth there'd be plenty of runners from the yard, Durbanville has no attraction for me and obviously the trainers have a similar view. With him cleaning up in PE you can't blame the bloke for sending them up, good managing of his horses.

He has a satellite yard in PE so no need for that. Just like many many other trainers in South Africa have the same set up. People moaned when Snaith had so many horses running on Met day, and now they moan coz he nominates too little horses. Business is business at the end of the day, and as a owner of 5 horses myself, I would want my horses to raid where the best chance of earning stake money would be. As long as the trainers are acting within the rules set down by the operators, there is absolutely no reason to look at any trainers regards the issue of them raiding. If people are not happy about this then they should focus on the operator and not the trainer. :whistle:

100% Missing Link! :woohoo: :woohoo: They have clients who put lots of money into the game and expect some kind of a return! There is plenty satellite yards all over South Africa and raiding different centers is part and parcel of horse racing, just as it is anywhere else in the world.

Doesn't like Durbanville....raced plenty Queens Plate and Met day....getting a string ready for DBN.....imagine if he didn't accept like he normally does.....more races would be scrapped!!!

Does he still have joburg stables ? Or has it closed ?
