Bob very difficult when you only have a 10% share of a horse in a syndicate. Sad to hear Biggy (couldnt bring myself to put BS) that you're not enjoying it, cause it should be a fantastic experience.
I have found in the past, when I have brought new owners into the game, I have had to go out of my way to feed them info at first and in so doing one builds up a bit of camaraderie between the owners. All part of the fun. It is very rarely done by the trainers.

well done Biggy, you just might find your odds rather cramped next time as you could be in line for a win with your 2nd runner ( dreams are made like this )
I'm waiting for 1 of 3 babies ( i have a small share in each.. 1 JNB 1 CPT 1 DBN ) to come out & run & i'm forever watching the noms....... but NOTHING IS HAPPENING

Been waiting 6 weeks to run a 2 yr old on the turf in KZN........ have sold y interests in 2 other horses and this will be my last for a while. Owners have no say in Gold Circle country and then I listen Hawkins and Shea talk shit on TV about how horses and trainers are enjoying the poly track.
Keep it up guys, hope you can keep attracting new owners.......I am tired of getting pissed off with what is supposed to be an enjoyable hobby.

T, I have also been considering sending one of my babies to Gauteng (a first for me). Im also so gatvol of GC and their incompetence to amend the program and to make it fair for all. I am not the only owner and that from someone who is as happy as pig in sh1t with my trainer.

I am one of the owners who wants to quit as well because certain trainers are thieves. You get billed for SH1T and some have a book of excuses.

Neigh, I am in the same yard and very happy but I cannot take this poly racing shit any more, have had horses in different provinces before but not the same for me.
Poly is great for the 4 & 5 yr olds that are not going to Hollywood but not for young horses. We can keep bullshitting ourselves that "trainers love the poly" but you will see the fields in KZN get smaller and smaller.
Alternatively the fields won't get smaller as more Cape & JHB trainers send horses to satellite yards but ultimately kzn ownership will reduce.
Who wants to go through all of the expense to have a winner on the poly that is destined for nothing?
