I remember them calling for second and even third photos before confirming a DH.
Has technology improved enough to negate that?
I would like to see that photograph....watching it live I thought the favorite won, the slow-mo imo showed the de Kock horse won ....so as you say technology must have improved a lot for them to be calling that one so quickly
And not that he would care one iota, but Mr Tarry is fast becoming my least favorite trainer

Let's not beat around the Bush if Muzi had switched whip earlier the punters won't be losing out

My sentiments as well, and for good measure, once the horse had already hung out, two more smacks for good measure, then switches the whip to the left, and it ducks back in. Anyway some back, better than none.

R1) Odd Rob (8/10), despite the price being short, this horse has never cracked a decent draw but has still managed to be competitive. Shouldn't have problems with the distance nor the going, if anything, should really appreciate the 1800m. Hard seeing this one being beaten.
R3) Spider Flower (28/10), going to take on the favourite, Captured Quality (2/1) for two reasons. Firstly has raced over the distance and finished a close up, and secondly, has a decent draw and tends to race handy, so I'm hoping he can get there for nothing. The favourite, guess the stable believe she will get the distance without too much fuss, but I'm not going to back her to find out.

If Cry Of The Toreador cannot beat a field of this quality, he will retire a maiden. Having said that, he can win without my money.
