"Group" RESULTS - 'Sunday' 25th May Workings...

Afternoon.

This afternoon completed then, and went as follows...

The 1st runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 2.92 on arrival and then there being a withdrawal and 16.7% reduction, we now wanted a lay price of 2.42. The price then dropped down to us and beyond, so we had a lay at 2.42 max. The price then drifted out to our own price of 2.72 (was 3.0 before reductions) and so a chance of a 'free' lay for traders and builders. The lay/trade went and won, so the way it goes, but glad of the 'free' lay now....

The 2nd runner was withdrawn, so on to the next runner...

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.5, and with drifting to around 2.6 on arrival and then dropping down to us, we had a lay at 2.5. The price then went back the other way, and out to our own price of 2.8 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten, so a good result....

The 4th runner we wanted 1.6, but a non runner and 5.6% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.57. There was then another withdrawal and further 4.2% reduction, so now we wanted a lay price of 1.55. The price was around 1.6 on arrival and then dropped down to us and beyond, so we had a lay at 1.55 max. The lay fell when in with every chance, so hope he's ok, but a good result financially.....

The 5th runner we wanted 1.66, and with being around 1.76 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 1.66 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it....

The 6th runner we wanted 1.8, but a non runner and 3.8% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.77. There was then another withdrawal and further 2.6% reduction, so no we wanted a lay price of 1.75. The price was around 2.04 on arrival and only got bigger, so with not seeing our lay price at any stage, it was a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten, so the drift more than justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'....

The 7th runner we wanted 2.32, and with being around 3.6 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so a race to avoid for all. The runner ran a poor race, so the drift more than justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'....

The 8th and final runner we wanted 2.6, but a non runner and 5.6% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.51. There was then another withdrawal and further 7.8% reduction, so now we wanted a lay price of 2.39. The price was around 3.45 on arrival and never came down to us at any stage, so we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten, so the drift justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'....

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED................

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Had to concede 0.6 of a target...........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and after a bit of a battle with winners and drifters, they ended up conceding 0.6 of a target after their 4th lay (the 5th runner)...

'Bank building' strategy/target players started with a 'free' lay that only bough relief........They then had another 'free' lay (the 3rd runner) that bought a tiny profit......They then had their 1st lay (the 4th runner) at 1.55 max, and a good result see them hit their targets....

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so well played guys...

So builders did a good job and got the wages, so well played guys. Rollers had to suffer a tiny loss, and will be frustrated with things this afternoon, but it happens and we'll be back tomorrow with all guns blazing! Have a good evening and speak in the morning....

Morning,

The races, runners, and prices, to work around for this afternoon then, as follows...

2.05 Fontwell. QRACKERS (2.92)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

2.35 Fontwell. GREEN PROSPECT (3.25)

Our price 11/4 (3.75) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.45 or under. *Traders be aware that he likes to lead, or race very prominent in his races*

2.55 Newmarket. AAKEF (2.26)

Our price 9/5 (2.8) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.5 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

3.15 Uttoxeter. I'M SO LUCKY (1.78)

Our price 4/5 (1.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.6 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although he can race a few ways, it wouldn't be any surprise to see a prominent display this afternoon*

3.30 Newmarket. BRONZE CANNON (1.75)

Our price 10/11 (1.9) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.66 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, he has shown a tendency to race prominently*

4.25 Uttoxeter. REDEMPTION (2.0)

Our price 11/10 (2.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.8 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

4.40 Newmarket. STRATEGIC MOVER (2.56)

Our price 13/8 (2.625) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.32 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, he has shown a tendency to race up with the pace, so no surprise to see those tactics applied again this afternoon - Also please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

5.35 Uttoxeter. SMOKE AND MIRRORS (2.46)

Our price 19/10 (2.9) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.6 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 09:54am.

That's our work for this afternoon then. Although it's never easy this time of year, we still have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum as always, and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon....
