Keeneland.

Cracking card tonight.
5th (allowance, 2:53 p.m.)
SYMPATHY was second in her U.S. debut coming off of a 15-month layoff. She figures to improve off of that effort and looks like another solid win candidate for Brown and Castellano. DEA and SUMMER HOUSE both finished right behind the top pick at Gulfstream and figure to the the main opposition again today.
6th (Ashland Stakes, 3:28 p.m.)
CATHRYN SOPHIA is undefeated and untested winning all four of her races by a combined 41 lengths for John Servis, who is on quite a tear himself. He has won with the last eight horses he has saddled coming into Saturday's card. This will be the filly's first try around two turns, but it would be tough to go against her in a small but extremely talented field for the Ashland. CARINA MIA looked awesome winning breaking her maiden here and winning the Golden Rod at Churchill. She is training well for her comeback and has to be considered. RACHEL'S VALENTINA won back-to-back races before a runner up finish behind 2-year-old filly champ Songbird and figures to be ready for another top effort.
7th (Commonwealth Stakes, 4:05 p.m.)
HOLY BOSS reeled off four in a row before hooking Runhappy in his final three starts last year. He has been working extremely well for Steve Asmussen and should be ready for a top effort. READY FOR RYE also had an excellent 3-year-old campaign and will move forward in his second start of the year. He is definitely the one to beat. BARBADOS can't be overlooked in a well-matched renewal of the Commonwealth.
8th (Shakertown Stakes, 4:42 p.m.)
SUMMATION TIME isn't nearly as accomplished as most of these, but he has been in the money in 8 of his 9 turf races. Castellano picks up the mount for Christophe Clement, and he could spring the mild upset in the Shakertown. UNDRAFTED will be flying at the end, and his best would make him hard to beat. POWER ALERT will be on or near the lead and comes off of back-to-back wins.
9th (Madison Stakes, 5:20 p.m.)
WAVELL AVENUE has been idle since winning the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint in impressive fashion. She rallied from well off of the pace in that one and will be running late again today. Give her the edge with Julien Leparoux picking up the mount for Chad Brown. STOPCHARGINGMARIA prefers two turns as proven by her win the in the Breeders' Cup Distaff, but she ran second in this race last year and she rarely throws in a bad race. She has been training well for Pletcher and figures to be right there at the end again. DANCING HOUSE is extremely consistent and likes the seven-furlong distance. She could run well in an excellent renewal of the Madison.
10th (Blue Grass Stakes, 6 p.m.)
CHERRY WINE should be a nice price in the Blue Grass, and he may be capable of springing the upset. He has shown improvement with every start and was a fast-closing fourth in Oaklawn's Rebel despite some traffic problems. Corey Lanerie is back aboard for Dale Romans, and he gets the edge in a very well-matched race. ZULU won two in a row before a runner-up performance in the Fountain of Youth. Pletcher adds blinkers Saturday and he has the tactical speed to be in contention throughout. He should like the added distance and is definitely the one to beat. DONEGAL MOON showed tremendous improvement winning by 13 lengths in his last start. This is a big move forward, but a repeat of that last one makes him dangerous.
11th (maiden special weight, 6:30 p.m.)
REBELLE looks like a winner in the finale. QUEEN CAROLINE will be tough if she draws in. ALLURING MISS has only had one start and should improve.

And at Santa Anita, wonder filly, Songbird, will line up in the Santa Anita Oaks and Sheik Hamdan as the undefeated, Shagaf, lining up in the Derby. Worth staying up tonight.

South Africa 9 hours ahead of California. Last week lost my beauty sleep watching Mohaymen getting trounced by Nyquist. Hoping Songbird keeps me awake for a good reason or it be 2 weeks in a row watching racing instead of partying up a storm

I now see Shagaf is running in the Wood Memorial at Aqueduct not in Santa Anita, so got a teaser before Songbird. That Cathryn Sophia at Keenland is also another star filly.
