End of April and woke up to 2 foot of snow. All this crap about global warming. Appears that Edinburgh just missed the fall so Musselburgh could well go ahead, just hope that the Borders and East Lothian councils have gritted the roads otherwise they won't be able to get the horses to the track. At least if and when the sun comes out the snow will melt very quickly.

PS I have a good feel about selecting the entire card at lingfield

selections at chepstow 2nd last, selection at Muss, last, over and out. Cant believe that i live a mere 21 miles from Musselburgh and no snow yet we have over 4 inches

R5 Punchestown O O Seven E/W. Was a bit disappointing at Cheltenham, but met with quite a bit of trouble in running and probably had to use up too much petrol at the wrong time (was bang there until weakening going to the last). Is much better than that and can go well in what probably isn't the strongest Grade 1 of the week. 8/1 or above is a decent E/W price.

R6 Bangor Stoleaway. Inexperienced, but promising young hunter from a good yard who was beaten by a very useful one last time. There is nothing of that class here and he will be extremely hard to beat if jumping competently. 15/8 (widely available) is an outstanding price.
