R6 Musselburgh Charles De Mille E/W. Seems to have recaptured his form for a new stable this season and ran very well in a much stronger race at Wetherby earlier in the week when things didn't really go to plan. Curzon Line will go off a short priced favourite after his win at Ripon last time, but he has never been the most consistent and is likely to represent poor value at around 6/5. The selection comes here in top form, has his ideal conditions and can make the first three at least. 13/2 (widely available) or bigger is a fair E/W price in an uncompetitive race.

R3 Navan Battleroftheboyne E/W. Won this last year and can go well again under his ideal conditions from a good draw (jockey is in great form as well). 12/1 (widely available) is a good E/W price (four places).

R4 Navan Next Bend E/W. Good recent form is in short supply here and the selection won well over C & D on his last flat run (has run creditably over hurdles since). Well drawn and can make the first four at least in a weak race. 10/1 or bigger is a fair E/W price.

R1 Ffos Las Maxi Chop. Don't normally put up short ones, but this will be very hard to beat in a race where the opposition looks extremely weak. Was a decent hurdler for Paul Nicholls in his younger days and has hacked up in his last two hunter chases (has now rejoined Nicholls - was trained by his owner for the hunter chases). Looks to have very little to beat here and, if jumping well again, should win this off a very fair mark. Anything odds against represents a fair price.

R5 Uttoxeter Cloud Creeper E/W. Should be spot on for this after two comeback runs and has his ideal conditions today. Well handicapped and should go well in a race which might not be as strong as it first appears. 8/1 is a nice E/W price.
