R5 Ballinrobe Neverushacon. Fair flat performer and hurdler who likes good ground. Sure to have been well schooled for his chasing debut and should be hard to beat in a weak race. 11/4 or better is an excellent price (likely to go off shorter).

Might get an easy lead. Has run well when making the running in the past and most of these need to be held up. Has a good draw from which to go to the front as well, with only Express Himself inside and he always loses four or five lengths at the start.

R6 Cartmel Baraboy E/W. Bit disappointed that there is a non-runner as most UK bookmakers will now only be paying three places, although SA ones will still be paying four. The selection likes good ground and ran well on his only previous start here. Is becoming nicely handicapped again and should go well in a weak handicap (will be held up for a late run). Sportingbet's 11/1 is a nice price.
