Played a patent :-
R3) Rocky Valley X (R4) Miss December X (R 5) Humidor
Rocky Valley was fancied on debut, oddly enough beaten by the Marcus mount, Buffalo Soldier. Granted he is a two year old taking on older horses, but none appear to be setting the world on fire, so hopefully with natural improvement he can pull this off.
Miss December, in a space of about 3.5 months, her merit rating has dropped from a 90 to a 79. She was competing against stronger company, so I am hoping she will be competitive enough against MR 76 company despite this being her first run at Scottsville. Actually feel the course will suite her style of running.
Humidor, he is 3 from 4 over the course and distance, and whilst he is not the best in here at the weights, on exposed form it's hard going against him. Appears to have had valid excuses last time, and if firing on all cylinders he should pull this off.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Craig Eudey
we are off to Scottsville with 2 runners. We start in the 7th with The Money Man for Pauline Young and Claire Mayers. Firstly condolences again to the whole Young family on the passing of Keith. A great man who with his family supported our stable and racing as a whole and will be sorely missed by all. The Money Man has shown that although he won with blinkers on he is not a fan of them. He has run on well over 1200m in his last 2 runs without them and so we are trying him over the 1600m. He does not have a great draw but we will get an indication as to how he stays the distance. If not we go back to the 1200m. He is a must in everything. In the last we have Last Summer who ran an improved race running on from way back from a very wide draw last time out and now from draw 1 and an extra 200m I am sure she will run even better. A nice runner for bigger quartets etc. Have a great days racing.

RACE 2 ANIME - Good run on debut after being slow away, well drawn.
RACE 4 KINGSVIEW - Not harshly treated for last win, Muzi retains ride
RACE 5 HUMIDOR - Lost a shoe when dissapointing last time, bounce back today
RACE 6 DIAMOND COAST - Appeared to stay well last run, appies claim will take her close.
RACE 7 PIROGUE - In top form and looks a Jockey strike today with Delpech up

Race 2: We have Ideal Lady on debut. She is a smart filly, but this is quite a strong field and those with a run or two under their belts have the advantage. She is on a par with our filly White Rose that ran a good third on her debut last week. Include in quartets and trifectas. Anime looks the one to beat after her good second place last time, although there are a few here who were close up in the same race.
Race 3: Burfi gets another chance to crack his maiden, but might find Rocky Valley too strong. Beau Var flopped in the feature race last time, but is good enough to win if regaining form.
Can't get excited about the rest of the card - will save my money for Saturday.

Gio Ponti's Legacy, if he doesn't blow the start he should blow them away.
Anime, drawn better than her main opponents should sht in here....
