This winter season

Has this not been a very low key , unexciting, very average season so far. With the exception of Bela Bela and maybe Black Arthur , there is simply nothing to get excited about.

The Rising sun field is a case in point, this race previously saw some really top horses complete


Btw, went to Scottsdale this Saturday after nearly 6 years. Esssentailly nothing has changed. Still the same old drab venue it always was. Probably never been upgraded in a long time. In stark contrast to the modern and enjoyable casino upstairs.

It's so obvious that modernising the racing venues themselves to bring it on par with other entertainment venues etc are bottom of the priority list.

Racing is fast losing appeal to the average person. And this trend will continue and perhaps even accelerate in the future.

Love this time of year, thought Saturday was amazing with TALKTOTHESTARS winning for the wee yard.

Agree that Bela Bela has been the standout , here's for a good month or so ahead

Miss the days when Millard was in town. Magic!!!

I'm sure it will start to hot up soon, Tarry yard not firing as yet.
