Love Struck attempted this in 2013 and ran unplaced in both. He was well fancied in the million race

Instead of a July gallop they give him a race, I don't think it's a strong field, so let's see.

I stand to correction but I am sure Illustrador won the July after winning a week earlier.

The Breeders Championship log as at 20-06-2016 courtesy of Sporting Post profile on Mick Goss shows Sumnerhill Stud ahead of Klavervlei by about R800,000---.

Now if we take into account that Rabada was bred by Summerhill but races in the Jooste colours then there is an interesting conflict at the top. Both breeders are well clear of the 3rd horse.

So if the Klavervlei Co-op in a benevolent and generous gesture decide let's give the title to Sumnerhill then Rabada will go out fighting on both contests.

Until then try to obtain a crystal ball and read between the lines. B)

Rabada ran his heart out there, probably one of his best ever runs to give lumps away like that

Can`t see him running on Saturday, but if he recovers he will be a massive runner

For the handicappers out there what would NW carry of it was carded for the July?

Coming round the bend Rabada looked home and hosed after taking a while to settle in running. Whether it was the weight that got to him I'm unsure, but I was very surprised Anton couldn't keep him straight as if he stays straight I think he wins.
