A bit harsh IMO. She does not have early gate speed, so from that draw I don't think that he had much option other than to drop her out. The field then became very spread out, and he was no doubt further back than planned. He rode a fantastic finish - just missed third and certainly the fastest 400m to finish. She is probably better on the new course with the longer run in.
Surely it's worth trying a change in tactics,how many times do you need to be unlucky?
You can try and overtake instead of going around the track two by two.
Majority of the jockeys at kenilworth do the same thing week on week.Was it Richard Hughes who gave them a riding lesson on he's visit.
