According to computaform, St Tropez was 4th,1,7lt @800m and Solid Speed was 11th, 7,1lt @ 800m in the bettingworld 1900.
Now I know I make errors, but I have watched the race a few times and I never ever saw ST ahead of SS.. even the comment for ST is shifted pipped. How did it get pipped if it was never infront?
Very misleading and ridiculous considering its the biggest race on sa racing calender...

So the 'best formguide in the land that is better than ever' has messed up - how many other 'slip-ups' are there in the form-lines that no-one has picked up?
And this is not the 'newspaper tips' - supposed to be the formguide for the 'professional punter'
Will some sort of explanation / apology be forthcoming?
St Tropez did finish like a train - I actually fancied him on the night before it became obvious that he was supposed to need the run - so with normal improvement not too hard to see why some think he will turn the tables on Solid Speed - but it may be wise to take into account that in addition to ST being 2 kgs worse off at the weights, SS also has in all likelihood some improvement to come

It would be great to get some sort of feedback from ComputerForm... a golden opportunity to interact with their customers.
Maybe a month's free subscription for Karma who picked this up....

Finally back on lol...
Tiger, I was super impressed. Jason Diedekind contacted me and advised that although an independant company publish the computaform (which I did assume), he takes full responsibility. Was a breath of fresh air hearing someone in the horse racing industry openly say there was a cock up and and accept the responsibility. He was also generous enough to give me a VERY VERY nice subscription which came as a total suprise....
All in all, Jason was a pleasure to deal with and the industry needs more people like himself.
