R3 Epsom Escalating. Hacked up on soft ground at Nottingham last week and only has to shoulder a 6lbs penalty here. Will be much higher than that when he is officially reassessed and is well treated here over the same trip and on similar ground. Looks to have only Shanghai Glory (12lbs higher than his win two runs back) to beat in this small field and 2/1 looks a very good price.

R6 Bellewstown Bay Of Freedom E/W. Good bumper horse who has taken a while to get the hang of hurdling. Won well at Wexford two starts ago before disappointing in a small field and muddling race at Sligo last time. Tonight's bigger field and stronger pace will suit and he will have no problems with the testing conditions. Can make the first four at least at an appealing 12/1.

Tried the 1st timer Company in the 2nd @Newberry.
