Race 1: Rock on Wood has good form but is too short in the betting. Cavalleria is much better value and should relish the extra ground, and is selected to win. All of Arctic Green, Rustar Dhow, Main Ambition and Amazingly could improve to contest the finish.
Race 2: Al Wahed was disappointing last time when well beaten by Captain Bagg, but with the sting out the ground he deserves another chance, and is selected to win. Captain Bagg is on the up, and Northern Corner should be respected one that the Ennion stable is back in form.
Race 3: Kenny Trix is due to win. Mount Keith will challenge. There are quite a few lightly raced likely improvers.
Race 4: You have to be a brave jockey to take the ride on a horse named "Drop the Pilot"- but she and Possibly Me should fight this out.
Race 5: Royal Ginger is improving with every start and is a narrow first choice in an open race. All of 1,2,4 are capable. Omaha Tribe is a tricky customer, but has the ability to win.
Race 6: Glenton won well last time after plummeting in the ratings. He obviously has his problems, but has only gone up 5 points and is still very well handicapped here and should win again. Otherwise, a very tricky race.
Race 7: very tricky race- use your dartboard
Race 8: I travel Light gets thrown in the deep end here against his elders, but could well be up to the task in a competitive race. Mr Jay and Celtic Charm may be the bet of the older horses.

Rock on Wood, Kenny Trix and Major Jay don't mind the wet. Omaha Tribe didn't like the soft going last time out - the money coming for him is not stable money!!!!!

Race 2 - Al Wahed with successful pilot back on looks the one to beat, but I'd be wary of Western Storm who didn't have a clear run last time when had plenty of running in him and MR has tumbled recently.

Nothern Corner has them stone cold
Chanukah gets a draw today hopefully Bantam will give it a chance.
Viking Voyage should enjoy the step up in trip and comes from a handy draw.
