Jackson was found guilty of causing interference aboard Shot And Sprung in the Maiden Highweight Plate over 1620 metres, the first time when shifting in near the 1400m when insufficiently clear of Tortured Poet and then near the 1200m when again insufficiently clear of Tortured Poet, causing that horse to be crowded and placed in restricted room.

Jackson was suspended for four highweight jumps meetings on each charge, Stewards allowing them to be served concurrently, commencing at July 3 and expiring midnight July 10.

Meanwhile, Jamie Anstice was suspended from riding for three months following the detection of a banned substance found in a urine sample provided by jockey at Seymour trackwork in May.

Anstice pleaded guilty to having provided a sample which was found to contain the banned substance Cannabinoids.

Anstice had his licence to ride in races suspended for three months commencing midnight June 2 and expire on September 2 and must provide a clear urine sample prior to being permitted to ride aga
