This might stop a few betting coups if the rules are stuck to and they don't decide x is as good as Strydom



WEF from Mon, 11 July. In terms of NHA RULE 55.1 , a change of RIDER may only be authorised by the Chief Stipendiary Steward

Don't need jock changes for a coup. Jock changes are befire 9am on raceday.
Whinging bookies again....

Why was Lyle Hewitson allowed to ride Patty Cake?

Weichong Marwing - an appie is not a like for like jockey change

Seemingly they asked a couple of like for like jocks and they refused to ride, forcing them to break the rules

Strictly by the book, in terms of the rule,the horse then should have been scratched reason no suitable rider.
