A champion in the making , I am of the opinion that Zodiac ruler will be one of or not the best for Snaith ...The way it powered away the last run with no effort , in a matter of strides the race was over...... I think it will be a confident banker for all bets.......

Imo (and I have been called mad many a time before), it could.be a tad short for it against these. I am firmly in the Puntas arena camp, as firstly its been one of my best punting horses, secondly its best weighted in the race, and thirdly (as SirP mentioned), almost double the price for a place than for win on M.

Dbl Zodiac Ruler (win)x Puntas Arena (ew).

O, and lets not forget, Zodiac Ruler wasnt even primed to the max lto as per Justins post race interview.:woohoo:

Cheers Bob. I really think Kinaan is the one to beat in the Gold Cup. Do yourself a favour, watch this horse check with about 150 to go, lost alot of speed (the ones infront were at full tilt), and still managed to get up to beat them barring the front 3 ofcourse. While alot of people were talking about Enaad's turn of foot, Kinaan ran a faster final 400 even with being checked like it was. Massive runner imo, and at 25/1, makes it very easy to back.

Let's not get too hasty here. I do think he'll win this race and I don't expect less as this, in my view, is a very weak race. The best 2yo's aren't here - Table Bay, Our Mate Art, Always in Charge...Heavenly Blue..I would be very very confident of Heavenly Blue thumping Zodiac Ruler if he were here. Zodiac Ruler has a similar profile to Afrikaburn who was a very forward 2yo and used to lose lengths at the start just like Zodiac Ruler IIRC. Most 2yo champion horses rarely go on to maintain that standard. Afrikaburn, Seventh Plain just two examples. Zodiac Ruler looks very forward and seems like he'll regress at 3 as others catch up. Just my thoughts.

The only horse racing on Saturday who is very likely to be a champion in the making goes by the name Marinaresco.

I could not get 4/1 on DC no betting other than LM and WSB.
I took a nice bet at 7/2 (my only bet for Saturday) and also a double tomorrow race 4 and DC

DC will open 22/10 or 2/1 with the other guys went they decide to open betting.
