Lotto indeed and if I play the lotto I never chance much!
Don't worry, not getting back in the habit of waffling, just in the "mood" to study last few days, the test match starting tomorrow will sort me out again I'm sure
R1 Imperial Dancer obvious chance but too short for me. I am going e/w on Summer Sky who I think (can't be sure cos the replay isn't too clear and they never go back far enough with the head-ons... not that there is a head-on for the race! lol what we paying for again???) might have been unlucky lto, looked to be very short of space 200 or so out and consequently could only start his run much too late. Could be progressing nicely on the quiet. Flower Blue might also have been a little unlucky but I am not so convinced from what I could see but, with Fortune up, a chance if so. With their low draws, Royal Spot and Heracles (if fit n well) are ones at bigger prices possibly worth considering in a none too-strong looking field.
R2 With the more "obvious" candidates drawn high in another not so strong looking field, I'm taking my chances with Kannemeyer again and their debutant Aunt Polly. Half-sister to a couple of fair sorts and though I know nothing about breeding, Gimmethegreenlight seems to have been given plenty of mentions of late as an ok sire. Also had a rand on Insinya on debut.
R3 Agree with Bob and Rosslee, at the prices, I am on Desert Fighter e/w but think Gimme Green improved plenty lto. The Bass stable would have given DF a chance but for the draw but it is still a better draw than many of the more fancied ones have. Have also chanced a Kannemeyer patent in the first three by including Serenade The Sea, both full brothers showed something and one won on debut.
R4 Rock On Wood definitely the one to beat imo
R5 Again with Bob, may only have won in PE but some fairly strong lines have come out of the maidens in which Viking Voyage ran. Has a good draw and a combo going well and, again, this does not look like a field of world beaters. Two nibbled... Dazzling Dancer is on 3rd run after a rest, is probably better than recent runs suggest, down in class, gold and bronze in 3 c runs and Zechner has won 3 times in 7 rides for the trainer (gets 7 rides today). Ice Style has not fired since a six month break but has a decent c record and from a good draw could improve again here.
R6 A few with chances and I can see why some have been supported but no obvious stand out for me so I'll take try a couple of small e/w's... Shepherd's Purse is a fairly consistent performer and has placed in 8/16 c runs and has the 1 box here. Respectable Rebel will hopefully appreciate both the drop in trip and the better ground, placed in both visits to the course, albeit as a maiden.
R7 I've sided with Roman Discent as I think the c brings a little extra out of him. I could make a case for pretty much the whole field though.
R8 Charlie Strong but too short in the market for me.
R9 Without great conviction, I'll chance Celtic Charm e/w.
Be(s)t of luck to all

Flower Blue in the 1st is a good each way bet with Fortune on, working well at home.

This farking guy
I feel inclined to blame the horse tbh, (although Offer wouldnt make the top 100 imo) appeared to either be feeling the bends or be a dodger
