Taking a chance with this yankee :-

R1) Intercept X (R4) Great Expectations X (R6) Lonely Arethebrave X (R7) Aventurine
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Had a look at the card and in race 1 intercept looks hard to beat...does anyone fancy anything else that we can take a dbl with?

Not a big fancy but The Slade in race 5 must have a fair chance. I liked his first run which was clearly to teach him about racing. Add to that, he took on winners such as Step Up who just ran in a grade 1. So 4th on debut was a good effort. Kannemeyer horses usually love the poly and as long as this is not one run too soon, he should be fighting out the finish. 18/10

As per above, Marcus should win the 1st.

Race 2- newyorkstateofmind 2/1. I have played the double with this one and marcus in the first. I really fancy this one strong, but have not taken a straight bet just yet. I am hoping that the delpech/kannemeyer duo comes in for support allowing my fancy to drift, then I will jump on.

looked beat a long way from home, Anton tried his best to get the horse interested but if you ask me it either didnt like the Poly or hated the cheek of not being able to lead
