Bubbly Reply at 5/1 looks a safer option than taking short prices Immortal Secret?

Northern Chorus might improve past today`s rivals, but it was a very poor maiden she won and the form has been badly let down since

Looks a tough card with no complete standouts...
R1 - Fav is far too short, Duke of Ed is a decent price and a better e/w play.
R2 - another terribly short fav, although Trip Tease is absolute class. Greasepaint the exacta play.
R3 - Shivering Sea should be too good here. She looks a decent sort. Honalua Bay the lurker, coming out of a strong form line.
R4 - Salve Regina will improve for her debut run, and that race has worked out decently. The one to beat.
R5 - Dynamite Jim e/w, down to his last winning mark and showed signs of recapturing the form in his last start. Pyramus has a wide draw but is dropping in class and could be a big runner.
R6 - Coby looks the solid option at first glance. Tales of Mambo looks too big a price at 9s though.
R7 - London. Merit rating has tumbled and even though jockey booking isn't very inspiring, she should get the job done. Future Fantastic has to be respected.
R8 - Northern Chorus is far too short. Silver Dutchess appeals at 8/1.
R9 - Absolute minefield! Play very wide in exotics or pray.

R7, Hollywood betting. ? Now this must be a first. They have priced up 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
I wonder if they can finish in that order. Just might take a straight line quartet 1, 2, 3, 4

I think an interesting card
R1: On form Space Tornado looks the right one, but has been rested / gelded and Delpech is on the stable mate - can't see anything troubling these two - first timer not finding support so unlikely to feature
R2: Obviously Trip Tease - I also like Greasepaint to place
R3: Both Shivering Sea and Pool Party overdue to win again - preference at the odds for Pool Party - Pinot Var looks the value at the odds - on straight form did beat Electric Lady by more than 3 lengths and there is not much between Pool Party and Electric Lady
R4: Very weak maiden - I think Sweet Chestnut will finally get it right today - for the rest the form look really weak - Salve Regina although 3 'straight' winners from her debut, none of the 3 world beaters imo and Consequentially (allies removed) looks likely to need the run
R5: Competitive line-up where Taegan's Jet looks very well in with the allowance - Ngcobo I think had the 3rd best strike rate of the appies last season and full value for his 1.5 kg claim; Racing Socks in good form, but the 2kg 'difference' with Zechner putting up 0.5 kgs overweight and Ngcobo claiming 1.5 kgs, results in my preference for Taegan's Jet; all of Schillachi, New Fort, Pyramus and Daytona Charger can't be ignored and the value is Jet Fever who has come tumbling down in the ratings and may now prefer this trip
R6: First of 2 competitive fillies handicaps where only Mighty Kahal looks out of it - Coby has had 3 wins at this course but has finished unplaced in 3 efforts over this specific trip
R7: Also tough to find a winner imo any of the 7 can win
R8: Given the tough races before, many people will look to Northern Chorus as the banker - and although as mentioned she did not beat anything of note, she did so rather cozily and is sure to be improving in only her 4th start - Delpech rides and the competition looks weak, the only other one I'd consider is Matsuri - stable still in hot form but really has had many chances
R9: Levi Lady does look the right one on form - has beaten Gina Ballerina who beat Golden Memories and The Great Duchess who beat Pippi Shortsock who in turn finished in front of Risk All - interesting runner making her debut is Ordained - saw her at the Ready to Run sale last year and she was a good looking filly - if Delpech stays to ride her, she could prove the danger
Enjoy
