Race 2- Apple Crumble could still be ahead of the handicapper imo.

Talking about race 2, Apple Crumble 5runs, 3 wins , 1 3rd = MR71. Dawn Assault 6runs, 1 win, 1 2nd, 1 3rd and a fourth = MR 82. HUH???

Correct on wfa terms , DA only turned 3 years old and AC is 6 years old. 3yos get 9kg (18 points) from 5 year olds and older .... so DA is only a 64 Net merit rating , thats why he and Royal Master will carry same weight.

Thanks Ziets, what I was trying to imply was there actual merit rating, not their nett for this race.

I see that Delpech doesn't make the trip to ride the "well bred" MdK/Wigerbosdrift first timer in the 3rd ............what do we read into that?

Probably go 4/1 and win by 8. They didnt sound confident at all on show.

Wanted Man in the last was fancied on previous run. Thing is how good is the first timer? And will the jock be riding to win or just ride as needing a run.
